Are you seeking comprehensive one-to-one mentoring as you start your legal career?

Van Beveren Lawyers prides itself on fostering the next generation of lawyers, so you can achieve the excellence in real world skills you need to make your legal career a success.

Whilst we are a boutique firm, we do have a large variety of work, which means that each day you will be working on something exciting and new. You will gain hands on experience across a range of family, wills, criminal, property and commercial law.

Your essential supervised tasks will include:

Legal research & memos;
Drafting precedents;
Proof-reading agreements;
File management;
Drafting affidavits & court documents;
Drafting correspondence;
Attending court & mediations; and
Using LEAP software system.

Who can apply

Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you are an enthusiastic PLT student available between 1 and 3 days per week. Hours of attendance are flexible with some work from home options available. We are an equal opportunity employer.

This is an unpaid position. We are confident you will gain a wealth of thorough practical legal experience and there is the opportunity for exceptional candidates to receive an offer of future employment at the firm.
